About Buttonwood:

It all began in 1981 with the purchase of a chocolate Labrador who was to become Ch. Cinnamon Sam of Windwood. Now, seven generations later, we have established our own distinctive line blending "Ballyduff" with "Rainell". We take great pride in the fact that we have a very strong, sound bitch line. Our males are also producing puppies with the classic Labrador type who are sound of body and temperament. We concentrate on producing only one or two litters per year, since we are retired, we are able to spend many hours socializing and caring for new puppies. All of our dogs live in the house, and the puppies are raised in the house where they get used to all the household noises and smells. Matching a puppy with a new puppy owner is our specialty. All of our dogs that we breed are hip, eye, and elbow clear of inherited problems. Thank you for visiting.
